Summer Camp for Late Talkers and/or Children with Autism

Join us for a fantastic four-week long Summer Camp dedicated to children who are late talkers and children with autism or those showing suspected signs of autism. You can register for each 4-day week individually or the entire program at a discounted rate.

    WEEK 1's Theme: SOCIAL SKILLS! Each day we will target a different aspect of social skills, such as greeting and requesting, sharing and taking turns, following directions, and emotions. Social skills are crucial for toddlers to learn as they form the foundation for successful interactions and relationships throughout their lives.

    WEEK 2's Theme: FOOD! Each day we will target a different food group, such as fruits, vegetables, desserts, and of course pizza! Each day we will target a different food group, such as fruits, vegetables, desserts, and pizza of course! This week's theme presents a unique opportunity for these children to explore, engage with, and gradually desensitize to various foods in a supportive and non-threatening environment as well as learning food vocabulary and how to request foods.

    WEEK 3's Theme: ANIMALS! Each day we will target a different set of animals, such as pet/farm, sea animals, zoo animals, and of course insects. ​ Each day we will target a different animal group, such as pet/farm, sea animals, zoo animals, and insects of course! This week's theme presents a unique opportunity for these children to explore, themed animal activities which can have a positive impact on language acquisition and communication skills.

    WEEK 4's Theme: TRANSPORTATION! Each day we will target a different transportation group, such as water, land, air, and emergency vehicles. This week's theme presents an exciting opportunity for these children to explore, themed transportation activities which can have a positive impact on language acquisition and communication skills and more! We may even have a few special uniformed visitors this week!

  • Full Summer Camp I (Medicaid)

    Attendance will be billed through your insurance. Must have active Medicaid insurance. Further instructions on referral needed to secure this slot will be provided after registration. The ticket fee is a registration fee but the camp will be paid via insurance. Rules: Child must not have extreme behaviors, attend speech therapy more than once a week -unless the therapy is with A by G, and must have at least 10 words. Ages 2-6 only. Limited slots available and will be very strict on attendance.
